For over a decade, Chabad AU has provided a warm, vibrant center serving the Jewish students at American University and community members from the surrounding neighborhoods.

 

Through a variety of energetic programs that attract hundreds of students both on and off campus - weekly Shabbat dinners, Jewish Holiday celebrations and other public events - to Torah study opportunities, socials and innovative Jewish identity and outreach initiatives, ChabadAU is a student's welcoming connection to our rich heritage, regardless of their prior affiliation. Chabad AU also offers an array of initiatives for our non-student community, such as Hebrew School to You, weekly Shabbat services, Torah study, counseling, and more!
